1. High School Certificate - C+ and Above.
Applicants must have completed high school with at least a C+ in KCSE. Strong grades in Mathematics or Physics are highly advantageous, as they indicate readiness for quantitative coursework in data science.
2. Diploma/Degree in any field (Ongoing also welcomed)
Whether you’re a recent graduate or still pursuing higher education, you’re eligible. No specific discipline is required data science skills complement fields like business, health, engineering, and social sciences.
3. Basic Computer Skills & Personal Laptop/Desktop
You should be comfortable navigating files, using browsers, and installing software. A personal device is required with minimum specs:
- RAM: 8GB or more
- Processor: Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
- Storage: At least 256GB SSD preferred for speed
- OS: Windows 10+, macOS, or a stable Linux distro
- Extras: Web browser (Chrome or Firefox), ability to run Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and access cloud platforms
4. Stable Internet Connection
A reliable connection is vital for participating in virtual labs, streaming sessions, downloading resources, and collaborating with peers. Recommended speed:

Online courses have rolling admissions, while in-person intakes are usually organized quarterly. Follow our social media or check the “Admissions Calendar” for deadlines.
3.Can I switch from online to face-to-face learning?
Yes. Subject to seat availability, you can transition between online and campus-based modes. Submit a request through the student portal or contact support for help.
4. Are there scholarships or discounts available?

5. Can international students apply?
Yes. We welcome international learners for our online programs. For physical attendance, ensure you comply with Kenyan visa and residency requirements.
6. How long does it take to process my application?
Applications are reviewed within 2–3 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation and next steps by email or WhatsApp.
7. What documents do I need to submit?
You typically need a valid national ID or passport, academic records (if applicable), and a passport photo. Specific course requirements may vary.
8. Will I receive a student ID or portal access?
Yes. Upon successful enrollment, you’ll receive a unique student ID, login credentials for the learning portal, and orientation materials.
9. Can I defer my admission after enrolling?
Yes. If you’re unable to start immediately, you can defer to the next intake. Submit a deferral request to admissions@datasealschool.com or through your dashboard.
10.Is on-campus support available for tech help?
Yes. Our Nairobi campus includes a Student IT Help Desk where you can get assistance with devices, installations, or platform logins. Open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
